Plane
Most flights land at the Henri Coanda International Airport , located in Otopeni, 18 km north of the city downtown. There are two bus lines to the city, bus 780 which goes to the main train station Gara de Nord and bus 783 which heads to downtown. One should take the 783 bus to the Piata unirii station, situated within 5-7 minutes walking distance to the Congress Centre. Optionally, The Henri Coanda Airport is serviced by taxies. Henri Coanda International Airport has connections with most European capitals and important cities: Sofia, Athens, Moscow, Paris, Wien, Helsinki, Venice, Milan, etc.

Train
Bucharest is linked through direct daily trains to all neighboring countries’ capitals (Belgrade, Budapest, Chisinau, Kiev, Sofia), as well as to Wien, Venice, Thessaloniki, Istanbul, Moscow, Bratislava, Cracovia, Lvov, München, Praga, Varna, etc. All international trains arrive at Gara de Nord station, which is located near the subway and bus line stations.
Bus
One can also travel by bus, Bucharest being connected to the main European capitals and major cities : Berlin, Bruxelles, Paris, Munchen, Rome, etc.
